Timbr AS was established in 2015 and has been delivering leadership development that makes an impact ever since. Our leadership programs support both new and experienced leaders, as well as established teams, across functions and levels. We focus on tailored, in-house programs that build a shared language, common understanding, and clear leadership principles – firmly rooted in the company’s own values and culture.

After ten years of leadership development, we have expanded our services to include strategic HR advisory. We support companies experiencing growth and change – helping leaders and organizations navigate both individual and structural transformations. With broad international experience, we assist global companies establishing themselves in Norway, as well as Norwegian companies expanding abroad.

 

What’s in a Name

Timbr is derived from the Old Norse word for timber. For us, timber represents strength, durability, and distinct character. The patterns in the wood tell a unique story and demonstrate resilience. In the same way, at Timbr we work to build strength and lasting impact in organizations and leadership.

Therese Kvehaugen has more than 20 years of experience in HR, leadership, and organizational development. She is known for her strategic insight and ability to find practical solutions, while maintaining high professional integrity and clear values.

Throughout her career, she has worked at international headquarters of biotech companies for over ten years, in addition to experience in retail, transport, and consulting. This breadth gives her a deep understanding of diverse business needs, industry cultures, and organizational challenges.

Therese quickly builds trust through an honest, respectful, and collaborative approach. Her international background and diplomatic style make her confident in complex environments.

Having spent more than ten years in Switzerland before returning to Norway, she brings valuable international experience and perspective.
